Stems and Shakers Event with Ivory and Noire

Flower arrangements and cocktails can turn any occasion into a grand affair. From the smell of fresh roses and flowers, to the taste of them, Ivory and Noire can instantly sweep you away to another place without even taking a single step.

I had the privilege of working with Jessica Pearsall, the creative mind behind this brand back in March. Together with Emily from The Guild, they invited me to host several bloggers from the Ft. Bend County area to experience her Stems and Shakers class.

From tablescapes, to flowers to cocktail recipes, Jessica does it all and she showed us how.

She gave us tips on how to style a table on a budget by just swapping out different key items for the season.

What is even more exceptional about her is her knowledge of each subject. This isn’t your typical design and cocktail recipe class. She provides an educated perspective on the infusion of different items.

We were in awe of her knowledge of different flowers and how to use them in mock-tails and cocktails. Moonflower Farms sponsored the event by providing nasturtiums, an edible flower with a spicy bite to it.

Flora cocina catered the nibbles and bites, check out that vibrant hummus. Truly a fun spread to choose from.

After tablescapes and cocktails, we made our own floral arrangements. These flowers smelled absolutely amazing!

These photos were taken at Studio Vibes right next door, a “cozy photo and video rental studio in the heart of Richmond, Texas.” The lighting is perfection and their Infinity wall is amazing!

This intimate setting of this class allowed us to really connect with each other. I met some of these beautiful women for the first time and it was a memorable experience to enjoy this class alongside new and old friends alike.

*** Jessica’s classes were postponed due to the events happening in the world. But I am looking forward to the day when we can all come together and enjoy her gifts again.

X’s and O’s,
