Gymboree Play and Music Experience

It’s hard to believe that almost 11 months have come and gone since I had my second child. I blinked and my once stationary baby is moving from one side of the living room to the next in a flash. A child at this age is truly amazing to see; the way they pick up a cheerio or squat down to grab a toy is pretty impressive. It was even more impressive to watch Charlotte cruise around Gymboree Play and Music during our time there. The session itself was highly energetic and included climbing, spinning, and toddling around. There were several play structures to keep the most inquisitive of minds busy and soft mats to make sliding much easier. After our journey through the obstacles, we enjoyed a rainbow ‘parachute ride'‘ around the mat and danced to rhythmic music with Gymbo, the cutest red haired doll. My favorite part was watching our crawling baby walking and pushing an inflatable pillar to the opposite side of the room, the perfect introduction to walking. We ended the session popping bubbles and playing peekaboo with Gymbo.

I was amazed to see Charlotte utilizing so many different motor functions. Our session definitely challenged her to try new things, take notice of new objects, and venture out to explore. Thank you to Gymboree Play and Music for a wonderful play day for Charlotte.
